Vassudev Salgaocar School of Maritime Studies
A three-year science programme recognised by DGS, training future deck officers in navigation, maritime law, cargo operations, and ship management. Graduates are eligible to pursue Officer of the Watch certification and sail on internationally registered merchant vessels.

Minimum Requirements
Academic Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST). English: Minimum 50% marks in 10th or 12th. Age Limit: 17.5 to 25 years. Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit as per DG Shipping norms, with 6/6 eyesight and no color blindness. Selection Process: Based on IMU-CET or National/State Joint Entrance Examination, followed by an interview, sponsorship screening, and medical examination.
